National Urban League President Mark Morial believes in the importance of homeownership. He says affordable housing can bridge the economic divide between minorities and whites in the United States. Morial, a former mayor of New Orleans, unveiled his proposal for a "Homebuyer's Bill of Rights" in a March 6 speech at the National Press Club in Washington D.C.
