June 2, 2006
The United States imports over 13 billion barrels of oil a day—and that number is rising. But Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., says it's possible for the United States to cut its oil consumption in half over the next two decades. Senator Clinton outlined her plan to achieve that goal in detail at the National Press Club in Washington on May 23, 2006.
