Kalb, who spent three decades at CBS and NBC, is now a lecturer at Harvard University's Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy. He spoke about the current state of journalism at the National Press Club on Dec. 1, calling his speech "A Reporter's Lament and a Call to Arms."
