Schwarzenegger on terminating political partisanship
March 16, 2007
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif., says America needs a national smoking tent. Schwarzenegger says Washington is suffering from a bad bout of divisiveness and partisanship and he says President Bush needs to do what he has done in California: set up a cigar smoking tent at the State Capitol where Republicans and Democrats can meet, greet and mingle. Schwazenegger was in Washington for the winter meeting of the National Governor's Association and outlined his ideas in a Feb. 26 speech at the National Press Club.
