March 23, 2007
Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va., scored an upset victory in the 2006 elections, helping his party regain control the U.S. Senate. The decorated Vietnam veteran is also a long-time critic of the Iraq War and is now a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Sen. Webb gave his views on the war and what he sees as a growing economic divide in America in a March 22 speech at the National Press Club in Washington.
