In January of 2006, Bob Woodruff was at the pinnacle of his career recently named the new co-anchor of ABC World News. Then, just 56 days into that job, Woodruff was in Iraq covering the war when a roadside bomb went off close by. Shrapnel and rocks shattered his skull, injured his brain and put him in a coma for five weeks. Bob and his wife, Lee, told the story of his recovery in their new book, "In An Instant: A Family's Journey of Love and Healing" and in this March 27 appearance at the Commonwealth Club of California.
