From water contaminated with human and animal waste to air pollution stretching as far as Los Angeles, China's booming industrial growth has created what China expert Elizabeth Economy calls an "environmental crisis." Economy spoke June 11 at the Chautauqua Institution in New York about the pollution problems China is facing today and what the country is doing about it.
