Lynne Cheney saw her childhood in Casper, Wyo. as a time of endless possibilities, and she laments that children today face a more complicated world. Cheney, who is married to the vice president and is the former chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities, is out with a new memoir about those times: "Blue Skies, No Fences.” Cheney discussed the book and took questions about politics, feminism and how she discovered her husband is related to Barack Obama in an Oct. 18 appearance at the National Press Club in Washington.
