New York Times columnist and Princeton University economist Paul Krugman says there's more to the U.S. housing crisis than just the numbers. In his new book "The Conscience of a Liberal," Krugman says the lack of health care reform, the rise of racial divisions and economic inequality for the middle class clouds America's future. What will turn the tide, says Krugman, is a program of expanding the social safety net and reducing inequality. He spoke Oct. 30 at the Commonwealth Club of California.
